NEW PROJECT: A Year of Remembering

Each painting is a positive response to my previous series: “A Year of Forgetting” (see projects listed in the navigation bar above). This time I am recording instances of remembering instead of recording my lapses of memory. Each monthly painting is a calendar of daily composites of my symbols for various kinds of mental awakenings, such as when I help someone remember a name, or I calculate a sum in my head.
